The Great Hunt is a Diku/Rom MUD based on the Wheel of Time series written by Robert Jordan. Although book knowledge makes the game more enjoyable, it is not required. TGH is an interactive, text adventure in a social atmosphere in which you can play against other real people all over the world. You can create any persona you like, and enter a virtual world of adventure, danger, frustration, and satisfaction. Fight monsters, go on dangerous quests, make friends and enemies, and kill others before they kill you. Only the bravest and the strongest survive!
*MUD: A MUD (Multiple User Dimension, Multiple User Dungeon, or Multiple User Dialogue) is a computer program which users can log into and explore. Each user takes control of a computerized persona/avatar/incarnation/character.
